BIOS: Living NFTs by Jake Tan and Ernest Wu is the first living collectible NFT art project that will grow in real-time for 6 months. As opposed to traditional NFT artwork formats, which are typically still images or short videos, BIOS: Living NFTs will be the world’s first truly living and dynamically evolving NFTs. These plants will grow on the blockchain, from a germinating seed to a fully grown plant. Each of the 1,024 uniquely computer-generated plant NFTs peer deeply into exploring the latest advancements in viewing, sharing, and trading artworks on the blockchain. BIOS: Living NFTs involves a combination of techniques ranging from 3D modeling, AI machine learning GAN algorithms, and procedural programming. Exclusive previews of the plant development beyond the seed stage will be exhibited at Hatch Art Project as part of the BIOS: Living NFTs segment within the Networked Machines exhibition.
